Jean-Guy and Sandrine Monmarthe’s family has owned vineyards since 1737 and presently has 17ha of Premier Cru in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. The cuvée “Secret de Famille” is their original 1930s blend and represents 85% of their total production of 140,000 bottles per year.
A blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay - blended from 3 vintages with over 2 years bottle age. In the glass, you can see a shiny gold and rising thin bubbles, you can smell some notes of hawthorn and white peach, you can taste a wine slightly honeyed with aromas of cherry plums.
Perfect Pairing: Fish, caviar, creamy cheeses.
