From vines 30-50 years old, grown in an unusual mix of soils, clay, sand and gravel for wonderful character and complexity - planted atop ‘Les Dentilles de Montmirail’, the foothills of the Alps, above the Village of Gigondas. Garnet colour with great intensity. On the nose, notes of liquorice, red fruits in brandy, garrigue and white pepper. On the palette, ample, greedy and supported by a dense substance as well as flavours of garrigue.
Perfect Pairing: Wild boar, porcini mushrooms, strong soft cheeses.
